Roundabout
by Tiffany Wood
July-August, 2012 | Bush Theatre

Picture
Based on the true story of a group of Balkan refugees camping on a Roundabout, this is a play about families, storytelling and finding out the truth about the past.

Roundabout was performed as part of Theatre Delicatessen's Bush Bazaar at the Bush Theatre in London,

July - August 2012.

"A more effective and concentrated energy could be found in the garden in Hobo’s Roundabout by Tiffany Wood. A rhyming-verse look at how a group of Eastern European immigrants ended up squatting on a roundabout. Mariam Haque, Brendan Jones, Hilda Peter. Marco Petrucco and Bogdan Silaghi defied the rain that decimated their audience with a vivid performance that was delightful."
- British Theatre Guide

"Roundabout by Hobo is a show full of heart that is completely endearing, often funny and for the most part absorbing... it deals with an interesting concept - the fate of asylum seekers - with a very blunt, if highly creative, look at ambiguous moral ground. I will be on the look out for further shows from Hobo."
